SATTL will execute through collaboration, experimentation, and integration, SATTL will improve spectrum management, efficiency, and situational awareness for DoD training and test environments to thrive in a rapidly evolving and challenging digital environment.

The vision To be the national accelerator in advanced spectrum training technologies, fostering innovation and collaboration to enhance military readiness and operational effectiveness in a rapidly evolving electromagnetic spectrum environment.

The mission The Spectrum and Advanced Training Technology Laboratory (SATTL) is dedicated to creating a low barrier to access industry-government collaborative space and threat-relevant environment for the research, development, and evaluation, of cutting-edge spectrum management and training technologies and rapid prototypes. Our mission is to enhance and accelerate the Department of War’s capabilities in spectrum management, dynamic spectrum sharing, and training readiness, ensuring interoperability with existing training environments and supporting the modernization of critical infrastructure and warfighting systems.
